Traditionally the pre-licensing program has been a "test prep". IT has been a quiet dream of mine for a long time to break in to property management. My mother did it throughout different points in my childhood I know it was not a cake walk to get in the ideal position. But I was wandering if I could get some pointers.
Like a reputable licensing company that deals allot with people in Small property management.
And how to go about locating available positions for smaller properties.
My ultimate goal is to get a live in position with free rent. I have a certain amount of experience and concept of what the job requires. How ever I need a fresh take.

Answer by steveko777 So you want to be a Super— your best bet to get your feet wet is take take a live in position–check Craigs List–or watch the papers. You will need an understanding of buildings and it certainly helps to be handy.You need to be organized–because you may have to collect rents and keep books, You need a solid understanding of Landlord-Tenant Law in your state—Most of all you need the patience of a Saint in dealing with irate and impossible tenants. Like I said watch the listings—sometimes a larger complex may be looking for an Assistant.
